How patient needs drive innovation in wearable technologies and global health

Dr. Dhruv Seshadri is an Assistant Professor of Bioengineering at Lehigh University and Director of the mobile Health and Analytics Laboratory, which advances wearable technology, sustainable bioelectronics, and AI-driven health solutions. His research spans sports medicine, women’s health, neurological rehabilitation, and community-driven assistive technologies, with partnerships across Lehigh Athletics, regional health systems, and global collaborators in India, Kazakhstan, and Europe. A committed Rotarian from a family of Rotarians, Dr. Seshadri integrates values of service and equity into his work, with a strong passion for STEM education, women’s health, and healthcare access. He has published widely and received competitive funding to translate his lab’s innovations into scalable, global impact. At Lehigh, he is equally devoted to mentoring students and building pathways that connect science, service, and society. He is slated to serve as President of the Allentown West Rotary Club in 2027.Chairperson:
