Michael Avagliano is an internationally recognized conductor, educator, and performer who serves as Music Director of the Pennsylvania Sinfonia Orchestra and the Summit Symphony Orchestra of New Jersey. He has led more than 15 orchestras across the United States and Europe, including guest conducting appearances with the Cleveland Pops and the Allentown Symphony Orchestra. A passionate advocate for music education and community engagement, Michael has founded programs that mentor emerging conductors and create opportunities for young artists. He is also an adjunct professor of violin and viola at Drew University and continues to perform as a violinist and violist. Michael holds degrees from Indiana University and a Doctorate in Orchestral Conducting from Rutgers University. Through his artistic leadership, educational initiatives, and commitment to community collaboration, he continues to inspire audiences and musicians alike.
